For an informative and interesting tour around one of Britain’s most famous breweries, why not visit Adnams Brewery and Distillery? For obvious reasons these tours are for the over 18s only, but they make a fantastic day out for couples or groups of friends. These tours run daily and take about one hour, and are followed by a tutored beer tasting session which lasts 30 minutes. Following this you will be able to go to the Adnams Cellar and Kitchen Store, where you can try a selection of their products – and collect a free bottle of beer! The tour costs just £12 per person, and is only a 40 minute drive from our scenic lodges.

Go Ape is perfect for families looking to try something different, as you get to climb up to 12 metres in the sky. Go Ape was the winner of the Suffolk Tourism Awards for the Best Tourism Experience in 2011, so is most definitely worth visiting with your young ones. This takes just over an hour to drive to from our lodges, so we advise that you plan to spend the whole day there to make the most of it.
